The purpose of this notice is to inform potential applicants that 
Program Announcement PA-99-110 Mechanisms of Alcohol-Induced Hepatic 
Fibrosis, which was published in the NIH Guide June 14, 1999, has added 
the NIAAA Exploratory /Developmental Grant (R21) mechanism to the 
Mechanism of Support section of the announcement.  The NIAAA 
Exploratory/Developmental Grant (R21) program announcement PA-99-131 
was published in the NIH Guide on August 2, 1999. 

All other aspects of PA-99-110 remain the same.  Please contact the 
program staff listed below, if you need additional information.
