ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPLEMENTS TO NCI GRANTS FOR MAMMALIAN CANCER MODELS

PURPOSE

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) announces two programs of funds to
supplement NCI-funded research project (R01), MERIT (R37), FIRST Award (R29),
cooperative agreement (U01), and program project (P01) grants, or NCI Cancer
Center (P30) or SPORE (P50) grants to assist with unanticipated costs
associated with the development and validation of mammalian models of human
cancer.  NCI-funded investigators whose research involves investigations of
mammalian models and who require supplemental support to fulfill the original
peer-review approved goals of the research, to take advantage of new
opportunities afforded by these cancer models, or to derive, validate, or test
mammalian cancer models, are eligible.  Funds will be available through
administrative supplements.

Submission deadline for all requests for administrative supplements is
December 3, 1999.

the supplement request is to be mailed.
