NIDCD SMALL GRANT PROGRAM (RO3) TO USE MODULAR GRANT GUIDELINES Release Date: June 17, 1999 P.T. National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders This Notice serves to update the NIDCD Small Grant (RO3) Program Announcement (NIH Guide, PAR-99-018, November 25, 1998). Beginning with the August 20, 1999 receipt date, the NIDCD will require that applications for the Small Grant Program use the NIH Modular Grant format (see NIH Guide, Notice of Modular Grant Application and Award, December 15, 1998) in preparing the budget. Complete and detailed instructions and information on Modular Grants can be found at https://grants.nih.gov/grants/funding/modular/modular.htm The previous Program Announcement states that the budget may not exceed $35,000 Direct Costs per year for up to three years of support. This Notice increases the dollar limit to $50,000 Direct Costs per year. The application of the Modular Grant format will allow for small grants to be submitted for up to 2 modules for $25,000 each, for up to three years of support.
