SMALL BUSINESS INNOVATION RESEARCH PROGRAM Release Date: February 13, 1998 RFP AVAILABLE: AHCPR-98-0008 Agency for Health Care Policy and Research The Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR) is soliciting contract proposals to conduct Phase I of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program for AHCPR. It is expected that approximately seven awards will be made in support of this program. Organizations submitting proposals under the SBIR program must qualify as a small business concern in accordance with the definition provided in the solicitation. This solicitation invites contract proposals in the following areas: (1) Assisting Purchasers to Use Information on Health Plan Performance; and (2) Assisting Chronic Care Management. Additional information related to these two topics will be contained in the solicitation. The issuance date of Request for Proposal (RFP) No. AHCPR-98- 0008 was February 6, 1998, with proposals due approximately 50 calendar days from the date of RFP issuance.
