Kilogram quantities of EPA and DHA ethyl ester capsules are available

free of charge through the Fish Oil Test Materials Program, a joint

effort of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the

National Institutes of Health.  These quality-assured and quality-

controlled materials contain 94 percent EPA or 90 percent DHA.  Ethyl

esters of vegetable oils (olive, corn, and safflower) are available

in capsule form as controls.  Funded research projects studying the

effects of omega-3 fatty acids in health and disease from all funding

sources, are eligible to receive these capsules.
