Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to provide the following clarification to PA-13-381 "Administrative Supplements to NIH Awards for Validation Studies of Analytical Methods for Natural Products (Admin Supp)". Awardees may not contract with external laboratories to perform the SLV study, but may contract with an external laboratory for a two-laboratory validation study, providing that one of the laboratories participating in the two-laboratory validation study is a component of the parent award.
