May IACUC 101 Workshop in Austin, Texas

On Monday, May 8, the NIH Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare, the University of Texas at Austin, and the Texas Society for Biomedical Research will co-sponsor an IACUC 101 conference.  The course will be held at The Thompson Conference Center on the University of Texas at Austin campus.  The IACUC 101 is a full day didactic and interactive training course that provides a basic yet comprehensive overview of the laws, regulations, and policies that govern the humane care and use of laboratory animals with examples and possible approaches for successful and effective administration.
