ANNOUNCING 2003 NIH REGIONAL SEMINARS IN PROGRAM FUNDING AND GRANTS 
ADMINISTRATION

Looking to learn about obtaining and managing NIH grant awards?  Two 
regional seminars covering topics related to NIH extramural program 
funding and grants administration have been planned for 2003.  The 
regional seminars provide information about the entire funding process, 
from opportunity identification and application preparation through 
post award administration.  Informal interactions between seminar 
participants and NIH program, grants management, policy and review 
staff are highly encouraged.  Presentations are targeted towards 
researchers new to NIH, research administrators, post docs and 
trainees.  

We are also offering three-hour NIH electronic research administration 
workshops in conjunction with the seminars.  These will be hands-on 
labs for administrators and faculty that will cover: registration, 
institutional and professional profile creation and maintenance, 
account administration, proposal status verification, financial status 
reporting, and non-competing progress reporting.

Wednesday, April 23.
