Notice to Clarify Application Due Dates for PAR-12-278 "Collaborative R01s for Clinical and Services Studies of Mental Disorders and AIDS (Collaborative R01)"

The purpose of this Notice is to clarify Application Due Dates(s) for PAR-12-278 "Collaborative R01s for Clinical and Services Studies of Mental Disorders and AIDS (Collaborative R01)". This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) indicates that Standard dates apply and as such the dates applicable to R01s apply, including the due dates for renewal, resubmission, and revision applications.
The clarification offered in this Notice is that multisite projects in which one or more new sites (i.e., a new application) are being added during the renewal phase of the projects must be submitted by the dates indicated for "new" applications, per NIH referral policy. Therefore, it is recommended that when there is a new site in a renewal set of applications, all sites should submit their applications on the "new" application due receipt date.
