The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) are notifying current grantees and potential applicants that Mechanism for Time-Sensitive Research Opportunities - PAR-07-157 (R01), PAR-06-249 (R03), and PAR-06-250 (R34) will expire on June 10, 2009. The participating Institutes are considering renewing the announcements with similar research objectives.  If reissued, the funding opportunity announcements will likely be published later this year.

In the interim, new, resubmitted, renewal, or revision applications will NOT be accepted for PAR-07-157, PAR-06-249 (R03), and PAR-06-250 (R34) after June 10, 2009.  Grants awarded under this program that are currently active will continue until their end date.
