Purpose

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) will hold a pre-application technical assistance webinar on Friday, July 22, 2011 for Investigators who are planning to submit applications in response to three Program Announcements on Vulvodynia - Systematic Epidemiologic, Etiologic or Therapeutic Studies available in the NIH Guide at PAR-10-190 (R01), PAR-10-191 (R03), and PAR-10-192 (R21).

The purpose of the webinar is to provide technical assistance to prospective applicants. Topics will include a brief overview of the research program, discussion of the grant mechanisms used, information on preparing a grant application, highlights of the review process, and opportunities to address participant questions.

Registration

Participation in the webinar is optional and open to all potential applicants. Prospective applicants who plan to participate in the meeting should send an e-mail with your name, affiliation, and contact information in advance of the meeting. In the subject line of your message, please enter Registration Technical Assistance.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit their questions about the Program Announcements in advance of the meeting. For questions, please enter Question Technical Assistance in the subject line of your message.

The webinar will be carried out using an Internet-assisted conference, through Adobe Connect Pro. A telephone and an Internet connection are needed to participate.
