INFORMATION FORUM FOR POTENTIAL APPLICANTS TO RFA-HD-00-013, CLINICAL TRIALS 
NETWORK FOR FEMALE PELVIC FLOOR DISORDERS

The Center for Population Research of the National Institute of Child Health 
and Human Development (NICHD) will hold a pre-application information forum 
for investigators planning to submit applications in response to RFA HD-00-
013, “Clinical Trials Network for Female Pelvic Floor Disorders.”  This 
meeting will provide prospective applicants with an opportunity to receive 
answers to their questions about the intent and requirements of the RFA.  
NICHD staff will be available to discuss the cooperative agreement mechanism; 
the roles of the Steering Committee, the Clinical Trials Advisory Board, and 
the Data Safety and Monitoring Committee; the expected interactions of the 
network participants, including the Clinical Sites, the Data Coordinating 
Center, and NICHD program staff; development of the concept protocol; and 
other appropriate questions.

Potential applicants to the RFA are not required to attend this information 
forum.  For those who cannot attend the forum in person, conference call 
capability will be provided.  A list of questions asked during the forum and 
a written summary of the responses from NICHD staff will be posted following 
the meeting at http://www.nichd.nih.gov/RFA/HD-00-013/HD-00-013.htm.

Applicants planning to attend the meeting or to participate in the conference 
call are asked to submit their questions in writing to the NICHD program 
staff contact listed below at least one week in advance of the forum. 

This meeting is open to the public.  To facilitate planning, investigators 
should register to attend the meeting or to participate in the conference 
call at least one week in advance of the forum.
