The Division of Extramural Research and Training (DERT) of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) announces that applications will no longer be accepted by NIEHS in response to Program Announcement PAR-06-179, which utilizes the R21 mechanism, and is entitled “Interdisciplinary Partnerships in Environmental Health Sciences”.  This funding opportunity announcement appeared in the NIH Guide on March 3, 2006.  Investigators interested in this program should apply via the NIH investigator-initiated R21 program (PA-06-181). These applications will be reviewed in regular CSR study sections.
