Purpose

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), with National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), intends to reissue PA-12-127 "Health Services and Economic Research on the Prevention and Treatment of Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Abuse (R01)."

This Notice is being provided to alert potential applicants that there will be less than 30 days between the open date and the due date for the reissuance of the funding opportunity announcement.  Publication of the reissued funding opportunity announcement is expected on May 8, 2015, and the first due date will be June 5, 2015.
