This notice is to clarify Budget and Funding Information for NOT-DA-08-036, Notice of Availability of Administrative Supplements for Drug Abuse Research on GALT and HIV/SIV Pathogenesis (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-DA-08-036.html ). 

No supplement request will be considered for more than $200,000 direct costs, and only one supplement will be accepted for each parent grant. Consortium F&A is excluded from this direct cost ceiling as per NOT-OD-05-004. 

Detailed justification of the budget request must be included.  The supplement request must be within the time period of the parent award period, and any extension of the project must be done before submission of the supplement request. The end date of the supplement’s budget period should coincide with the end date of the budget period that is to be supplemented.
