The purpose of this notice is to alert the research community that the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) has renewed its commitment to support research related to PAS-05-078 (R01), PAS-06-275 (R03), and PAS-06-276 (R21), “Non-Human Lentiviral Models of the Neurological Complications of AIDS.”  In addition to funds available from other institutes, NIDA intends to commit up to $400,000 in total costs in FY 2007 to fund drug abuse-related grants in response to this PAS, depending on the overall scientific merit of the applications and the availability of funds.
