ADDENDUM TO PREVENTION RESEARCH FOR THE TRANSITION TO ADULTHOOD (RFA-DA-04-013) RELEASE DATE: December 12, 2003 NOTICE: NOT-DA-04-005 National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) (http://www.nida.nih.gov) Clarification to scope of RFA DA-04-013 (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-DA-04-013.html) NIDA wishes to clarify the substantive scope/boundaries of the Transition to Adulthood RFA (DA-04-013). Appropriate (in-scope) studies include: (1) examination of the long-term effects of childhood interventions in the young adult years, and (2) naturally-occurring impacts of environmental or systems-level interventions such as variations in enforcement of rules or other practices across sites within an organization.
