Purpose

This Notice is to inform applicants that the National Cancer Institute (NCI) has joined the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), (http://www.ninr.nih.gov) to participate in funding opportunity announcement RFA-NR-09-004, entitled “Interventions to Improve Palliative Care at the End of Life (R01).”  Meritorious grant applications that are relevant to the mission and goals of the NCI will be considered individually and will compete for NCI funding from a total NCI set-aside commitment of up to $2 million for this FOA. All other aspects of this FOA remain unchanged.
