The purpose of this Notice is to inform prospective applicants that the correction of the Request for Applications RFA-CA-08-004 “Centers of Excellence in Cancer Communication Research II (CECCR II) (P50)” in regard to the maximal direct costs that may be requested in applications submitted in response to this RFA.  This limit is set at $1,500,000 per year, excluding Facility and Administrative costs on consortium arrangements.

Thus, Section II.2. Funds Available of RFA-CA-08-004 (2nd bullet) should be corrected to read as follows:

• An applicant may request a project period of up to 5 years and a budget for direct costs of up to $1,500,000 per year, excluding Facility and Administrative costs on consortium arrangements.  The budgets for years 2 through 5 of the project may not exceed an escalation of three percent on recurring direct costs.  Facilities and administrative (F&A) costs requested by consortium participants are not included in the direct cost limitation; see NOT-OD-05-004.

Except for the above correction, all the other aspects of RFA-CA-08-004 remain unchanged.
