Amendments

This Notice is to inform the scientific community that, effective immediately, the NCI is modifying Program Announcements PAR-06-294, Small Grants Program for Cancer Epidemiology (R03), and PAR-06-458, Small Grants for Behavioral Research in Cancer Control (R03), such that publications are not to be included in applications and/or associated appendix materials submitted in response to these two program announcements. Publications, even if included in applications and/or appendix materials (submitted for a past or future receipt date), will not be considered by the peer reviewers during their evaluations of the applications.

These modifications to the indicated program announcements are necessary because of conflicting instructions regarding the inclusion of publications with any appendix materials. Only the first-appearing instruction in both program announcements regarding publications (i.e., No publications or other printed material, with the exception of pre-printed questionnaires or surveys, may be included in the Appendix. ) is valid.
