The Cancer Biomarkers Research Group, Division of Cancer Prevention, National Cancer Institute, will hold a pre-application meeting for investigators planning to submit applications in response to Request for Applications (RFA) CA-07-020 "Alliance of Glycobiologists for Detctin of Cancer and Cancer Risk" (U01) (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-CA-07-020.html). This pre-application meeting will be held on Friday, July 14, 2006, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, at the William H. Natcher Conference Center, Balcony B, National Institutes of Health, 45 Center Drive, Bethesda, MD.

Prospective applicants are invited to attend this public meeting as an opportunity to ask questions and receive additional information pertinent to the Alliance of Glycobiologists for Detection of Cancer and Cancer Risk. Representatives from the following NIH institutes will be available to discuss the intent and requirements of the RFA CA-07-020: National Cancer Institute, National Institute for General Medical Sciences, National Center for Research Resources. While strongly encouraged, potential applicants to RFA CA-07-020 are not required to attend the pre-application meeting.

While no registration is necessary, prospective applicants who plan to attend this meeting are kindly asked to provide the NCI contact person (indicated below) with the name of the Principal Investigator, institutional affiliation, address, and telephone and fax numbers. An E-mail notification with this information will be appreciated. There is no fee for attendance.
