Change in NIAID Salary Caps and Research Support for the K08 and K23 Career Development Awards

Purpose

The purpose of this notice is to inform the community that the NIAID salary caps will change to $90,000 and Research Support to $50,000 for both K08 and K23 awards.  All other budgetary items and policies for NIAID Career Development Awards remain unchanged; including the policies outlined in: 1) NOT-AI-06-002 regarding NIAID Eligibility Requirements for (K08) Grants Applications; and  2) NOT-AI-08-041 Career Development Award Applications - NIAID Policy on Support of Clinical Trials.

This change is effective immediately for all competing awards associated with the January 2013 council round and thereafter.
